Welcome to my website. I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. I was a postdoc at W. Allen Wallis Institute of Political Economy, the University of Rochester. I obtained my Ph.D. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Vanderbilt University.
I use formal theory and statistical methods to investigate the causes and consequences of shifting power dynamics in international politics. My research explores various sources of power shifts and examines how these changes influence states’ bargaining behavior and foreign policy decisions.
My research offers important policy implications, particularly regarding great power competition, such as U.S.-China relations and China’s evolving role in global affairs. My work has been published in The Journal of Conflict Resolution.
